2005 Souhrada Family Reunion – 25th Anniversary

New Prague, Minnesota

August 13th and 14th, 2005

The 2005 Souhrada Family Reunion took place in New Prague Minnesota.  Saturday evening dinner was held at the “Town’s Edge Restaurant” and Sunday’s lunch and meeting was held at the “KC Hall”. 

During Saturday evening’s dinner, entertainment was provided by Jerry Milner of New Prague, MN. Jerry is a concertina player, collector, and maker.  

Sunday’s dinner was provided by ladies of the KC Hall, and included traditional Czech dishes such as dumplings. The business meeting was conducted by John Vanicek. Janel Souhrada Stephens recognized and thanked all of the many people who worked very hard to make this year’s reunion a success. Leota Campbell gave the treasurer’s report; Denis Cuka (a member of our South Dakota branch of Souhrada’s) was introduced, and Pete Souhrada gave an update on the Souhrada.com website. Dave Souhrada conducted the auction, which was a great success and fun for all.
